Your baby bag will soon become your new best friend. A way to carry around all you might need for your little one- from nappies, spare clothes, bottles and toys- its sometimes hard to know what to pack and what are the best brands! A baby bag itself is so personal- our fave brand (and my baby bag above!) is the stylish Claudine & Ash. Quality leather baby bags- that are also on trend and look great.
We've asked our tribe to let us know what they recommend to pop in their bag. So from one group of stylish & everyday mums to another group- here's the list!
Obviously a given...but there are times that they are forgotten! A good idea is to re pack your bag each night and ensure you replace any nappies used that day
There is possibly no greater invention for a mum! These little squares of goodness are a life saver for small spit ups, nappy changes and even split milk or dripping ice creams! Never leave home without them
Aldi Mamia Wipes were one of the top responses we received from our tribe! Rating high in quality & value for money
One of the fave pure baby wipes, was tooshies by TOM
3. Charger/Charger Pack
Its always the time you need your phone the most that it seems to run out of battery life. There are some fabulous products now that you can carry along with you other than your charger (when you don't have access to a power point). Power packs are fabulous for times like these.
We are in love with this Belkin Pocket Power Pack in Rose Gold
4. Wet Bag
Its inevitable, at some stage you will be changing babies pants from little accidents, changing clothes after a visit to a park with water & sand. The best are the waterproof zippered bags that keep everything else in your baby bag dry, and can be simply washed when you get home.
This classic black wet bag from Buggy Cart is one of our Faves. It can even clip to your pram.
5. Change of Clothes
Extra pants for accidents, tops for spit ups and socks and a cardigan/extra jumper for when the weather changes
If you bub takes a dummy, this is a pretty important one! There are some great dummy containers and even portable dummy sterilisers available now to ensure your spare is kept clean. How cute are these Pop Ya Tot Zip lock bags for dummies?!?.

7. Nappy Rash Cream
It sometimes happens out of the blue that from one change to the next, baby can all of a sudden have a red & sore toosh! There is nothing worse than seeing our little ones in pain- so carrying this to use each change or when needed is a must
Sudocrem came in as our most recommended nappy rash cream for on the go- the handy tube for out and about is fabulous
Its fabulous how many natural products there are out there for bubs- Moo Goo is one of our fave brands and this nappy cream came recommended
If you are bottle feeding, its a must to pack your bottles and formula.
9. Sippy Cup
Water is such an important thing for babies! Please consult with your health care professional as to when its best to start using a sippy cup and giving your baby water
One of my personal faves in going from a bottle to water is the NUK Bottle with handles and sippy teat. All my girls used these and loved them
Top Sippy Cup is the b.box Sippy cup with its awsome weighted straw- so no matter what angle your toddler is using it, the straw can still reach the water
10. Snacks (for older baby or toddlers)
For nutrition and also help with teething!
11. Changing Mat
We introduced Portable Change Mats to our Bella & Moo range, to enable mums to take stylish mats on the go. We offer our mats in our range of fabrics and you can design your own! Just pick a fabric
Out mats come with a beautiful fabric and are padded with a woft absorbent fleece and their underside is a waterproof PUL fabric. Easily folded up in baby bags and also machine washable!
12. Hand Sanitiser
For all those overly friendly nappy changes :)
13. Nappy Bags
To wrap all those overly friendly dirty nappies!
14. Sunscreen and hat
Its important to have a good sunsceen for your baby and also a wide brimmed hat for those trips to the park or cafes when you find yourself in a sunny area. Please remember that babies can still burn in the shade! ( I learnt this the hard way!)
What partents choose to put on babies skin is a personal choice, and please seek advice from your health care professional or midwife if you are not sure whether to use or not. The brands below come in as two of the most popular from other mums
Invisible Zinc Junior Sunscreen- with its handy clip at the top
Moo Goo, Natural Sunscreen
15. Snacks and water for you
Just as important as everything else! Find a great water bottle you love and also healthy snacks to keep your energy up- try nuts, bliss balls, boiled eggs, crackers and cheese or cut up carrot/celery and dip
16. Teething Toy
A must for keeping baby entertained and teeth happy!
Always a favourite- Sophie the Giraffe
17. Wrap or light blanket
For that change in weather, to keep sun off baby in a pram or just to cover up whilst breastfeeding- a muslin wrap is a life saver.
Love Little Bamboo for their softness and large size
And for pretty florals you cant beat Toshi Wraps
18. Entertainment for Older kids!
Lets not forget mummas with baby #2 and needing to entertain a toddler also. Our top responses for these items were balloons (to blow up and let the kids play with), small bags of toys, small play doh tubs and bubble wands.
